Where to find mintage figures?

    Especially modern commemorative gold coins. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

    If you are referring to U.S. coins the current issue of the Red Book
    should help. Newer pieces struck the last year or so might wait till
    all sales are done and the remainder destroyed (melted).

    Agree, but there was a fellow on here that used to provide weekly figures regarding us mintages.......He had a brain for an avatar (can't recall his 'handle') and ain't seen him on here in quite a spell. That was some good up to date stuff.

    For the older modern gold commens
    www.moderncommemoratives.com You can find authorized mintages and actual sales figures. For the current one try www.numismaticnews.net then select Features and Mint stats.

    You can also find them on the Mints website www.usmint.gov but they are not easy to find.

    Thanks Conder.......The modern commems I already had bookmarked, but the numismatic news was the one I was looking for ,and for some odd reason, couldn't remember.
