I don't think so. A picture of the RTY would be beneficial. But the thickness looks normal and normally discernable in a worn state.
This makes no sense.. Doubled Die is a variety where there is true doubled letters, numbers or image. Doubling can also be in a form of Mechanical Doubling or Deterioration Doubling which are not at all true doubled Die but considering worthless doubling.. Do you understand the difference?
Yeah, it's a misnomer (MD or even DDD). It may date itself back to the Poor Man's Doubleddie of 1955 (which is DDD). The very way a DD is made relative to a mechanical wobble on the die stroke or using an LDS or VLDS die to coin parts should clear the air. But most folks, even collectors, are not aware of the coining process. Once they learn it...they are perplexed about this like the rest of us.
It doesn’t look like it I actually found one coin roll hunting a couple days ago.but can not figure out how to make a post in the error section.im also new so that probably has something to do with it.
Go to forums, click on error coins. A little box pops up in the lower right POST NEW THREAD. Click on that and the rest should be simple. Upload you file for the photos and make them full size.
