Struck on a normal clad dime Planchet it would go for $200.00 - $300.00.. For a silver planchet I would say more $400.00 - $600.00 @Heavymetal that mint error falls into the rare error category.
Many times we get people who come to the online forums claiming the have a silver wheat cent and so many people tell them they don't or it is impossible. This coin shows why you have to get more information before you tell them it isn't. Silver cents ARE possible, just unlikely.
I've been advised of the price ...I won't post here please PM me for information .this isn't my coin I ran across it Sunday a dealer friend is the owner. I posted as I know Paddyman like errors as such. My only interest is finding it a home it will be appreciated,a bright star in a nice error set.
Paddy54 posted it, so you know it can't be real. Now if some novice posted it, then that's different...
