We were teasin ya JeanKay....1901 SVDB?

On your SVDB 1909, it's a neato feeling when you get your first one., Pretty cool, you'll keep looking at it over and over again. I would recommend only TPG coin OR a trusted dealer if raw.

Yep, up in your neck of the woods, that would be Jack Beymer

I need 9 more coins for my wheat set, there are also another 9 that need upgrading. Off the top of my head I'm pretty certain the 9 are
    09svdb
    09s
    11s
    12s
    13s
    14d
    14s
    24d
    31s
So pretty much the usual suspects :)

I'm hoping to pick up a few more in the next few weeks. At the moment I'm two coins away from my BU rosie set being completed. That comes first.

I've got a nice BU memorial set, 90%+ have come from circulation. I'd guess maybe three or four need upgrades but I think I bought all of those last night when I got a bag of BU red memorials at my coin club auction. I'm pretty amazed at the number of totally red BU 60's memorials 've found in circulation. Someone near me must have been raiding their album or spending some BU rolls they had stashed.

A pattern is a try out only, to show officials and politicians, they never were meant for circulation, and they are #'d by the Judd catolog....

I was only kidding, she had said 1901 instead of 1909 SVDB

    Hi Brit,

What coins do you need for your Rosie set?
I have some extras and am happy to share if I have the right one.
I only have one slot to fill but have to wait till June.
My Jeffersons are 3 away from completion.

The Washington quarters are another subject altogether.
My Kennedy's, Ikes, Sacs, SBA's are close to complete.
When these are done I can focus on Mercs and Buffalos.

Here you go, cropped the "die chip" that I saw, might not be, but looks like it to me. Looks like a nice cent, real nice. :D

Okay Phoenix.. now I see it.
Funny thing, I usually notice tiny little details like that.

This coin has been a lot of fun with all its die cracks and such.
By the way, did you see the die-clash on the obverse from the newer closeups that I managed to get posted?
The first picture has the clash plus the die crack over Liberty. The second picture shows the die crack that comes from the rim and meanders up the sleeve to the collar. It is faded some, but I know I can see it. And, the second picture shows what looks to be doubling on the jacket collar and a little farther below on the jacket back.

The third picture shows the bottom die crack that might also be a lamination error.
The fourth picture shows the die crack between the U and S of Trust.
And the fifth picture shows the die crack that goes across the wheat ear to the S.

All in all, this coin has about everything, including a place to live in my album.

Nice 11 S Jean. Now you can look for RPM's. It's nice to have them.

    Thanks Rhubarb.
Your 11 s is pretty darn nice too. How do you get the picture so large and still clear enough to see? And, is that a rpm on your 11s? Some of these are so difficult to see when there is build up of 'gunk' on them.

I do have about 25 rpm's which I won't list unless someone twists my arm.
Most are repeats of others already discovered.

I have help. Alot of member's here have them. If your trying to discover new coin's then you should look toward's the 2008 series. It is very profitable to find coins that have already been discovered. It depend's on what your interest's are. PM me.
