Washington Quarter Cracked Head- Common

    I don't see anything about any die varieties like this, but I see different years with cracks going across the head.


    Is this common for Washington Quarters?

    You probably don't see listings for these cracks because they are soooooooooooo minor.

    It's not common but not rare either.

    A coins design can make one coin more prone to have a certain
    type of error than another.
    Common errors are minor because they hold no added value in the Numismatic Community.

    Heh, list it on eBay as a "crackhead" variety and I bet you'd get some interest. ;)

    Quite common on Washington quarters...More so on war nickels but easy found on both .....
