    I like that type 2, there seem to be quite a few of them around in high AU. I have this one: 1855 type 2 dollar pcgs 58 obv.jpg 1855 type 2 dollar pcgs 58 rev.jpg

    Thanks for the comments; in hand it has a rich orange-gold color that I like a lot; the only issue I have is the planchet problem near the obv rim from about 1 to 3 o'clock. It graded PCGS AU58

    Lost the reverse photo of this one and it’s moved around in the slab but it’s my only CAC gold.

    I have read that if you repeatedly tap the holder lightly on a hard surface the coin will slowly shift position. No personal experience, though!

    If you have an electric toothbrush you can use it to vibrate it back to center

    Skip the paste unless you’re trying to buff out scratches. Never tried it but it might work. Actually leave the head off and the end where it goes will work just fine
