Is this even possible or was this done chemically? Bubbling and die scratches show both copper plated and not plated. Surface is not rough and 2.46gms is the weight. Thank you for any information.
Can see how sandpaper would work for the high points but wouldn't it have also done the same to the bigger bubble blisters? And how did it get to the low points of flat area in front of Lincolns face and back of head and leave blisters that are higher untouched? Just trying to figure it out????...lol Maybe has worlds smallest hand sander or glued sandpaper to Qtip and spent vacation sanding. Anyway thanks everyone
Only the person that created what you have would know the answer. Maybe they gently put it against a fine spinning buffer.. Enough to buff away the high points and not the low areas. Many PMD coins can be a real mystery.
