It has to be in crisp condition to have a premium. What's up with the security strip? Looks like it's peeling? Folds and wrinkles also make it less desirable Yours looks bad so I say just face value or just a very minor premium
When these first came out a banker told me to slip my pocket knife between the security strip and the bill to confirm it's authenticity. I am guessing I am not the only person that has employed that method.
$100 I really don't understand why people get a modern day star note, for face value and assume it's worth more than that. In perfect condition to a collector maybe, I'm going to start tearing off a small corner on every modern star note I spend.
As of today it's worth 81 pounds sterling, 91 euros, 132 canadian dollars, or 148 australian dollars.
Worth face value- I can't imagine how this note can have even a minor premium, as it's condition is very poor. Even in crisp condition it would have a minimal premium. High denom. stars don't carry much value over face.
Just make sure not to do that to any 2013 $1 J stars or 2017 $1 I stars- those could be worth a bit of money.
