    Hi everyone,
Reddit user /u/s_98 brought this token to the coins subreddit earlier looking for help. Another user and myself helped to read and ID it and it appears to be unlisted anywhere online before today. I created a Numista page (awaiting approval) but wanted to share it here as well.

Vershina Tei is a village in the Republic of Khakassia, Russia. It was founded in 1957 to support the newly opened Teysky Iron Mine. The Teysky Mine appears to have gone into bankruptcy and stopped production in recent years so the future of Vershina Tei is unknown.

Obverse: В ПАМЯТь О ПОСЕЩЕНИИ (In Memory of Visiting) - FE (Iron) - ВЕРШИНА ТЕИ (Vershina Tei) - ДОСЕЛКА (Village)
Reverse: 1957 - ВЕРШИНА ТЕИ (Vershina Tei)

It's unknown if there are similar tokens from the area but if there are, I was unable to find any online.

Neat token. I unfortunately have no useful information for you, never having seen one before.

What do you mean by “similar”? Mining tokens, specifically, or something else?

Yeah either mining tokens from similarly small Soviet towns or tokens from the village of Vershina Tei.
