Find of the day was definitely this 1920 Philly buffalo. Pretty wiped (and sorry for the phone pic) but the date is clear under the eyepiece.

I haven’t posted in awhile due to being on vacation and searching 5 skunk boxes in a row. Not even a 1974-D DDO to ease the pain, although I am now primarily edge checking which may explain that. While traveling, I was able to dump $2000 of searched halves out of my region. ;) My 6th box had the following:

    1962-D Franklin
    1965
    1967
    1968-D

I don’t know how many boxes I have waiting for me due to being gone last week, plus this week’s order. Probably around 4-5. HH everyone!

Ok, I opened these and then put them back for show and tell. Guess what happened?

In this day and age there are still people that don't know about 40% coins!

Got a roll of quarters from the bank today. Went to the same teller that had the toned nickels I got awhile back. Today I got. A roll of bicentennials that are also toned. Part of the same collection dump as the nickels

Decided to give my dump banks a rest, so I have started using the Coinstar machines. I found out that you can get gift vouchers for full value of your coins instead of a cash voucher. They have them for Starbucks, Lowes, Home Depot, Applebees and others.....Every year at Xmas I buy a years worth of Christmas Blend from Starbucks.....And will buy additions to my Christmas Yard Display from H.Depot or Lowes, so it works out well for me and I don't have to run up the Credit Cards at Christmas. So far I have only gotten STARBUCKS since the Voucher balance can be transferred onto a registered Gift card. So right now I have close to $400 on my Starbucks card LOL! Below is a picture of my Xmas Yard Display, so you can see where the other vouchers will be going!

Bought 4 rolls of pennies tonight just for fun. Found 2. 2009 Lincoln’s life pennies a 1958 Wheaton and a 1970 S. Also found some 1982’s and 1998-2000 which I have saved to check later.

6 half dollar boxes searched this week: 1964, 1964-d, 4 x 40%ers. Not a skunk week, but not a barn burner either. Oh well, there's always next week. I did catalog some loose foreign coins and now have 52 different countries in my Foreign Album. Many more loose coins to go, so that number will grow. They're a good diversion for me when halves are slow.

20190928_115442.jpg 20190928_115515.jpg I got 10 rolls of quarters to try and find my first "W" coin. No luck finding one yet but have lots of 2019D's. I did find a 1941 silver quarter in very worn condition, a 1970D that is in really nice shape and a 2013S quarter.

I went thru my weekly half dollar box, no silver, But I did get 2 NIFC's and a 1988 - 1 Piso/Peso coin slightly smaller that our half dollar.

I’m at a hotel in a coastal fishing town in the middle of nowhere this week. I went to the front desk and asked for $3 worth of quarters for the hotel laundromat, and 1 of the quarters was a 2012 S Cu-Ni clad proof. I don’t search quarters, but I thought this was remarkable.

@tmeyer @berto Cool finds for the both of you! I love finding S coins.....Proof or Business.
I went back through a roll of pre 1982 pennies I had searched and set aside. Found Another 1970 S that I had missed during my first search.

I've found 3 or 4 of the business strike "S"s in the last few months. Pretty surprised, myself.

Made my monthly trip to the neighboring town where I picked up a bunch of half dollars:
3 x Brinks boxes (checked - no enders)
    2 x partial bags off of coin counters ($610 & $43)
    $410 loose Brinks MWR rolls
    $120.50 loose
I also got 4 Ike’s, 1 was a 1976-D Type I (bold reverse font). I did see some silvers in both partial bags. Results will be forthcoming soon!

    Unwrapped 2 boxes of 2019P cents. 4,999 2019P and 1 single 1992P. Very random.
