    Hi,
    I am super new here so, I can't really say. I have tried to compare your coin on Wexler's but, I can not find anything with doubling on the neck. Hopefully someone will chime in soon =) As I am curious as well.
    Happy coin hunting!!!!

    @Bargainbidder
    A Doubled Die variety has nothing at all to do with a double strike. You should first Educate yourself what a Doubled Die is before you search for one.
    So there is no such thing as a doubled strike.

    I don't see any doubling in front of his neck.

    I see a stain, but it's not doubled, as far as I can tell.

    Can you be a bit more specific about the doubling you see?

    Enlarged, it is very common machine doubling. You will see this a lot on 1963 & 1964 cents. I have found many over the years. It is not an error or a doubled die though.

    I'm sorry was hoping arrow was close enough to show the outline of neck itself and the separation. My bad on wrong use of wording when describing the coin.

    I just want to make sure that you understand that there is a huge difference between a Doubled Die and a Double strike. They have nothing to do with each other.

    Tommy got it right. BB for best enlargement, set the photo to full size , or mention to all to click on the description such as
    20190923_124536.jpg" and it will be large enough to see the MD Tommy mentioned. Jim

    You are definitely a very "big fish" in this pond so I have no problem at all, thanks for giving me something to post about on CT while I checked in for my very short daily visit. :p
