I think this is great what you are doing to spark/continue interest in coins.

    Preferences in order are 1, 11, 8, 10, 5, 2, 9, 3, 4, 6, 7, 12,

We are moving soon so cleaning out attic and basement, and my wife found this "United States Coins of the 20th Century" deep in the attic, which I was given as a kid. I remember having it on the wall in my room.

Well the attic and 30+ years certainly changed these coins. When she showed it to me I said "I don't remember them looking like that!"

Whether toning is good or bad, here are some pictures.

I thought I had already entered for this month. I looked and couldnt find it, but if this is my 2nd entry I apologize. Kind of having to stay in my car due to unforeseen circumstances, so this would actually brighten my day, if the powers that be shone down.
    1, 11, 5, 8, 3, 10, 9, 2, 4, 6, 12 and 7.
And a little inspiration or renewal got ahold of me when I was lucky enough to find this Indian Head in a penny roll that looked like a bank rolled treat.
    Made my day. 20190814_013203.jpg

This jerk coin here made me think I had finally found a silver quarter coin roll hunting. The edge showed no clad and I immediately pulled it to find it was a foreign coin. I flipped it and it rang like silver so I got excited again. Looked it up and it was nickel/copper :banghead: It burned me twice. Awesome design though.

That sucks. Reminds me when I would get Canadian pennies in change and not notice until later. I would just try to pass them off to the next guy. A quarter like that is probably hard to pass off!

I kind of like that coin tycoon. But I mean it's not in my pocket, either. Lolmlm
What does that say on the front "Cinquenta Centavos"? What is that 50 Cents?

    I wish I was a Tycoon! :p

I like it too. Never seen one before and it only cost me 25 cents which I am more than happy to part with to have this sweet design. And yes, Cincuenta Centavos means 50 cents.

I'm just a beginner but I am having such a good time researching all my inherited coins. The most interesting being the 1925 Morgan dollar with the mysterious "s" on it.

    First choice prize: # 5
    Second choice: #12
    Third choice: #6

    Thanks!

@rdwesq- welcome to CoinTalk! I see this was your first post here.

In light of that, since I think I had one free bonus entry left to give away for this month, I will double your chances. If the random number generator lands on this post (#194) when we do the drawing at the end of the month, you will win a prize, just the same as if it landed on your entry post (#193).

I see you tried to post several times but ended up stuck in the Moderation Queue. This is a temporary thing that all new members go through. Your first few posts have to be submitted for moderator approval, but that feature is like "training wheels". After a short period of time, it goes away and you no longer have to go through moderator approval for your posts to show up. So stick around, and participate in some discussions. :)

Hey, @capthank- don't forget Rule #2 in the intro. You need to post some kind of coin- (or currency)-related content. I've fixed your post so you can edit it to add that, in order for it to be eligible.
