I would not keep any of those coins. They should remain in circulation.
They have no Numismatic value. IMO

Some toned coins can hold a nice value, but only if they are in a high mint state. They are cool to see,but those are not worth anything over face value. Also, toning isn't considered damage on a coin,it can actually give it more of a premium if it is natural and has good eye appeal.

THANK YOU ,,but your criticism of these natural art pieces is insulting .Each coin is individual not created the same way. The first coin maybe chemical still a nice pattern and preserved for 1964 and the patterns are great. The second coin 1975 great black an white imagery of Lincoln these are in my opinion one of a kind ART coins now.The 1990 Lincoln cent has a many different images that is the toning. The 1988 coin has tones that changes its appearances the last three pics is the same coin.. the last three coins imagery is created by the toning.

I myself happen to keep the toned coins I come across that appeal to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Your welcome. But I do have to add one thing just like we have our own opinions about what we like the other members of cointalk are allowed to have their opinions as well and even though our opinions may not be the same all the time we should try our best to accept the other members thoughts and even if we don't like or agree with what they may say in response to something we post we should keep in mind we did ask for people's comments. I did like your post and appreciate everyone's responses even the ones I didn't happen to agree with. Have a great evening everyone. Trying to learn something new every day.;)

If you see them as art, then keep them by all means. Stick them in some AirTite capsules. Those can be cheaply found on eBay.

I prefer to get mine in change than from ebay it's cheaper and I prefer to find something I want to keep for myself to be a random find it feels more like a gift from fate making it something I can appreciate having not just something I own because I bought it.
