There is a lot of discussion going on about the 1922 D. I am learning some real good stuff. I didn't want to hijack another thread, so, I made my own in hopes of getting some feedback on my 1922 D. It seems that the die crack on the reverse is common to others. Attached are photos of mine.
Like you, I learned a lot from that thread. I was absolutely at F12 on @C-B-D coin. Soon as I can get away from church I am pulling my cent book out of the back of the safe to study mine. Some interesting history that I didn’t know.
The straight die crack through the O of ONE, as well as the secondary radial die crack at 2 o'clock on the reverse, are not rare on 1922-D cents. This die never produced a "No D" die state. Back when I was grading coins I would have called this a VG-8. TD

Not sure how you got VF for the obverse. It's a G-VG all the way, or possibly a liberal VG8 as another poster wrote.
After the recent GTG on these, I gave the benefit of the doubt with the grade. The MS coin there was guessed to be in low grades by many. Proved to be a good lesson on these. I thought anyway. Not even close to being a professional, especially on all types. Link to thread...(Educational, and fun) https://www.cointalk.com/threads/gt...s-gonna-be-a-fight.347290/page-6#post-3727825
