1984P Purple Toned Cent

Found this in last night's box. Thought it was purdy enough to take a picture and post here.

Looks like a die chip and possible clash on the rev. Good looking cent.

 

Die chip in the bay? I think that may be a plating blister. Not 100% though. Not gonna mess with it though. It's purdy as is

 

That looks like the sky with the setting sun in the Painted Desert. Absolutely beautiful!

 

All I did was take it outside and shoot it in the natural sunlight. It is quite a stunner

What gas, and what temp ?

100% AT....IMO. still cool looking.

 

I mean, copper is pretty dang reactive. I wouldn't be surprised either way, NT or AT.

 

I think it's possible for it to be NT, I just highly doubt it.
Could be worth some bucks on eBay though.
Or a nice keeper.

 

Eh I don’t mess with ebay. I never sell any of my stuff except some 40%ers I sold last week. First thing Ive sold since I started collecting 7 years ago.

Im usually not a fan of zinc cents but that is one beautiful coin!

 

What kind of box? Not a cereal box was it?
