Think I finally figured out super shiny quarters pictures

Needed a diffuser sheet over the stand between the lights that are already diffused.and angle the coin slightly instead of it being dead on with the camera. Guess my lights were too bright for the coin, but just bright enough to make the camera happy.

Found this grease-filled die going through a bag of San Fran Guam Quarters. Unfortunately, it was the only thing I found :yack:

Looks like it to me. I'll have to try that with the diffuser. I have a lot of Sacagawea to post,But I can't get good enough pics to post. Thanks for sharing.

Nice photos. I find the shiny one very difficult too.

What is the mark under RI of America?

Great photos Ty! Diffuser? Cuts down on the glare nicely so that you can see all the detail. Very cool man!

Ran across that too. Tried it up to the point of the black cloth as I don't own one. May try picking one up though to test out. It could allow for pictures in the day time as I am slightly locked to doing only pictures at night in order to try and keep consistency.

Thanks. There is something incused. I figured some extra grease or some debris. Good eye.

I would try to take a better picture, but I already slapped it in a 2x2.
