Studying this 1976 D dime I see LIBERTY is unevenly placed on the coin. There is no damage to the rim. On the reverse, the A and M are touching as is the C and A. On the obverse, the letters of WE are also touching. Keep or toss?
It happens. Dimes seem to move around a bit. Only really matters if the features are affected. Possible die chip connected the C & A. WE is probably just circulation wear. Keep? Only you can decide that; it's your collection. I recommend you get yourself a daylight bulb. Your pictures are too yellow to really see any details (at least for my eyes)
It's called a MAD or Misaligned Die. It isn't the word Liberty that is misplaced. The whole obverse was struck slightly off center. Quite common in dimes.
I'm guessing the total outlay for that Roosie was $.10. Keep it. Spend it. Donate it. 2x2 it. Won't set you back in retirement with any of those decisions.
