coin and currency collecting, some golf when I have the $$'s and readingbooks and listening to audio books on my long drive to work.....
I also have stamps and ball card collections that are dormant. I do a lot of reading. Also, I am into the turbo Dodge cars from the 80s and early 90s that I spend a lot of time (and money) on. And, lastly, I collect commemorative Coke bottles.
my number one hobby is martial arts. i have been extremely fortunate, and have been able to study w/ some of the greatest legends in the martial arts community. i recieved my first instruction at 11 in tae kwon do, went to my green belt, then switched into fu jow pai (tiger claw) kung fu in 1973 and recieved my first black sash in 1977. since then, i have studied san soo, ying jow pai, wing chun, northern shaolin, and various styles of kung fu. in the last 19 yrs, i have been studying jeet kune do (bruce lee's martial art), brazilian ju-jitsu, kali (filipino unarmed, stick, sword , and knife fighting), silat (indonesian martial arts), as well as many more varieties from thai boxing. krav maga, to the mixed martial arts. this is my 37th yr and i am still learning. whenever we train, our philosophy is all based upon reality, as well as...."leave your ego at the door"!!! my other interest include guitar and of course...german sheperds, guns, and studying the bible and spending time with God. thanks all for sharing your hobbies....sincerely....steve
WOW, cool "flipper" there you have Toad, I have no coins of Reagan other than a silver "dime" I got on Ebay The 1980 Republican Convention was held in Detroit, so those 2 parts of my collecting merge. That is also the first year I was old enought to vote. I do have a bunch of Detroit Reagan things, my favorite being an ABC News press pass to the Convention
That was also when I was finally old enough to vote but I don't remember the coin. That might have to do with where I lived plus I had joined the military during that timeframe and was in training during the primaries and missed out on all of the political stuff that election. Ribbit Ps: That's the only one I've seen on Ebay so far and I found it in England. Go figure? I saw it and couldn't resist getting it.

I have a 9 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. There is not much time or money for much more. 1. playing the guitar 2. coaching girls fastpitch softball
No other hobbies - in my opinion. I bowl and golf(at least not for a year), but don't consider them hobbies.
Lots of hobbies I used to be more involved with but as age creaps up they slowly deminish. I've had some really strange hobbies at times. Coins for well over 60 years though. Other hobbies have been guns, knives, swords, miscellaneous martial arts weapons, spears, axes, flashlights, Hot Wheel and Matchbox cars, clocks and just any tools. Of course there is a few autos in there.
my other hobbies include, board games, ccg's, miniatures games, guns, comic books, autographs, and most importantly Star Wars.
Saltwater reef aquariums have been my main hobby for the past few years. Quite an expensive hobby and has pretty much dominated everything else for me. I've still got mine going but taking a little break, other than doing water changes and stuff. Haven't been buying coral. Used to really be into baseball cards and autographs. Gave all that up and the cards sit in a safe. Sold most of my autographs. I'm into firearms and reloading also. Home theater a little bit if you call that a hobby. Been doing some upgrading lately. Then maybe tinkering with photography a bit. Sometimes bowhunting and fishing. Collected coins when I was about 8 to 14. Then I gave it up. Lost an appreciation for the hobby. Didn't understand a lot of the lingo. Had no money. Now at 27, I've rediscovered the hobby and love it once again. Coins are my main hobby right now and I suspect it will be for a long time.
Besides collecting coins I like playing video games (Grand Theft Auto 4 right now, its so sweet) reading about anything to do with science (real science things that are interesting not that weirdo science fiction stuff) and occasionally bowling (120 average )
Of course there is coin collecting, BUT I Metal Detect Wood Work Volunteer Play Lacrosse Play Soccer Read And a lot of other things That I can't think of at 7:00 in the morning.
Just for your info if you collect Toy Soldeirs there is web site called Prince August where you can buy moulds to make your own out of Lead or other soft metals such as Antimony. It's in Ireland. The local distributor is called the Dunken Company @ www.Dunken.com or 1-800-544-6653 or email homecast2@consolidated.net Forgot that too is one of my hobbies. I've made complete chess sets out of lead from those moulds.
