I'm interested in collecting coins and bought my first one from GovMint.
A Teddy Roosevelt US Terratorial Silver Dollar. They claim they only have 5,000 of them.
    How true is this claim?
If true, can only increase in value over time?
Are they pretty reputable to purchase from?
Thanks in advance for any response.

Those are not US coins. They are Phillipine coins minted by the US Mint in San Francisco.

I would stay away from any coin dealer that uses the word "Mint" in their name.

Google BBB for a thorough report.

Thanks for the advice. On their ad they only showed the back of coin appearing to be US currency but only after going back to their site after ordering did I notice the front bearing Phillipines.
Guess step 1 is I need to be very careful not to be mislead.

Step 1 should be to buy a Red Book and educate yourself about a coin before you buy it. That Phillipines peso is in the Red Book.

We all make mistakes. Don't let this mistake go to waste by not learning something from it. Hopefully it will be an inexpensive but valuable lesson.
