What do you think you see there, Tony? I see an ordinary coin. Take better pix of both front and back. Crop them to just the coin. When you post them, choose Full Size, not thumb nails. Please. Always tell us what you're looking at. Don't count on us to see the same thing you're seeing. Thanks for posting.

you guys are silly probably DDO - that's Doubled Die Obverse for those grammatically and "spellingly" correct definitions. put the coin on a flat piece of paper, not in your hand. turn off you flash go to a bright room and try the pictures again and crop like this. it's actually not a bad picture, considering ... (usually they're all fuzzy/blurry from hand movement). BOTH sides becz it's supposed to be a DDO and a DDR.
but there's only one 1997 listed on this website. Compare your coin to this, and notice how zoomed in and in focus the pictures have to be to identify the specific items on the example http://www.varietyvista.com/01c LC Doubled Dies Vol 3/1997PDDO001 cent.htm but, using your images, I don't see it by comparison. I like looking at the fattening letters of some areas, or other die identifiers. The GOD should be noticeable and it isn't on yours, and other markers. at least as best I can tell from the images. vs fattening of the vertical part of the G, and especially the right side (and some left) of the O and D which is not on yours to my eyes.
btw, searching for 1997 DDO brought up a lot of Wrong and fake website. One such youtube from a poster we had here several months back who's "every coin they touched" was DDO / DDR if they held it just incorrectly and "fuzzily". lol
