i dont know why but i have seemed to really get into foreign currency. most of the new additions are older bills. here is a bunch i have gotten recently. i am still waiting to receive the books to properly identify my world note. so i will do my best for now. many more to be posted once i get them all. i am really starting to like notes done by the American Bank Note Company.

Great notes for sure and the ABN Co does have a magical way of capturing your attention from the vast array of engraving from yesteryear!
I am hooked my self...and trying to stay within my collection them at the moment! Thas waht got me into some of the Obsoletes.."The American Bank Note Company" a rich history and a good read!

Lovely notes, now with that 1914 Mexican look at the top and you should see Vera Cruz and a date is it the same as the lower date 1914 ? not sure if you can see it properly on this one that I have but the lower date is 1914 and the upper 1915  LOL I also have the notes with both dates the same.

Really nice notes. Thanks for sharing! It's nice to see that I'm not alone with a fixation on ABNC foreign notes.

urbanchemist, those are some very nice notes. The 10 Pesos revolutionary note from Veracruz is listed in my specialized catalog as Dec 1, 1914, brown reverse, large 10 at right, series C, C or D serial number suffix. Catalog number #S 1107-a. According to the catalog there are 12 variations to this 10 peso note. I like that one peso coin on the reverse of the note. :)

De Orc, some notes do have 1914 on the lower part and 1915 on the upper part of the note. Yours 1 peso note is the curved base type, curved 1 on the top right. For more info I would have to see the reverse of the notes.

De Orc, the catalog # S1101-a, date 5.2.1915, black on under print, curved based 1's in corners, series A. :)

Some of the other 1 peso notes have over printing on the back.
