I have going through my 2019d rolls ($25 from the bank all 2019d) I’m finding a lot of this on coins! 10 penny’s per roll! Something is happening here? Any help appreciated! (Very faint but noticeable after 10 rolls)
What do you mean? The spots? Those are just surface blemishes. They do reduce the desirability of the coin, so I would look for ones that don't have them, and return/spend the ones that are blemished.
Gross...All 2019s...I'm sorry for your loss...lol. PS - I'm sitting on 2 solid boxes of 2019Ps right now. As for what you are asking about, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
Good for you! Glad you have p,s I have D! I’m sure you will find more issues. Mine will be a better find! Haha!
2019P to clarify. That's what I have. I'm on the East Coast and rarely see a new year's Denver mint until the following year.
From Michigan! Was hoping to find some wheaties! I opened the box! I was like that’s not gonna happen
You'd be surprised. I had 2 boxes last week, 99% solid 2019P, Ended up pulling 3 wheaties from them. It was strange. But I've had it happen a couple times before.
Naw, I managed to find a lone 2019D last month. I REALLY hate shield cents and only want 1 P and 1 D for my set haha.
What are you suggesting? I coin roll hunt. Take them back to the bank? Or find a possible flaw in U.S coins!
Looks like you have a bunch of coins that came from the same die. You might be able to follow the progression of the crack.
I still have 38 rolls of pennies from a box I bought awhile ago. It was almost pure 2019's ......although in the rolls are a few older pennies and I did find 4 wheat pennies in the 12 rolls I did. But I lost patience with it, and have just let the other 38 rolls sit. If I decide to do pennies again I will get CWR's from the bank. At least there is some variety.
2500 brand new zinc cents are a waste of time to me. If you enjoy it, more power to you. A die break on a modern zinc cent means nothing to me. Zinc cents are an abomination. If you are happy, that's what matters. I don't see the point in 2500 brand new zinc cents.
Looks like you have some die cracks and chips on each of those. Seems to be quite common in that area.
