NGC graded this coin: VF something or another, I think 20. I grade it no more than British fine. British fine is what I offered and bought it for. BTW it was my first crack out and liberate coin. FREEDOM!

But if you knew that that particular coin from that mint was well known for being weakly struck from worn dies - would you be so quick to disagree with the grade assigned by NGC ? I'll grant you, they make their fair share of mistakes with world coinage when it comes to grading. But I'm not so sure they did on this one. Of course comparing the British system of grading to the US system of grading is like comparing apples and oranges.
