Hi. I am new here and also in the coin collection but it has really started to fascinate me. I have dime me that I would like them to see. I don't really know if it's a printing error or if it's wear. Can you give me your opinion?

    1) Welcome!
    2) Coins are minted. Not printed. Paper money is printed
    3) When you have questions about a coin, it is best to provide clear, close, properly oriented images of both sides of the coin in question. That way we can best help you.
    4) Your coin looks to have been struck from a slightly grease-filled die. This is incredibly common and usually not worth anything more than face value. You can read about it here: http://www.error-ref.com/?s=grease

This! I finally started to collect dimes and went through all of the ones I've hoarded. Almost every time I would find a gem, it would be a worn die and usually grease filled around the edge.

Common and more of a nuisance than a find.
