    Machine doubling on obverse?

    Worn die on the reverse. I don't see anything on the obverse.

    Oh ok. On obverse I’m looking particularly at IGWT. The S of TRUST shows the most imo.

    I see what you are saying about the word TRUST ..... it looks like Machine doubling to me, but I'm very new to this. I also have an AMP with the same grease strike (even a little worse) on the reverse.

    Check out single squeeze hub doubling. The new hubbing process does not make doubled dies like the big ones from long ago (55/72/83/95). What you are seeing is more likely the result of a deteriorated die - which makes sense being that the reverse die was also well worn. Both obverse and reverse dies were getting towards the end of their lifespans.
