When I lived in northern Wisconsin in the 90’s, we had a proliferation of Deer, followed by packs of Wuffs increasing commensurately. Our house backed up to 100 acres of open woods.

Late one evening, my neighbor had a deer taken down by a pack of wolves. Blood everywhere in the snow. That was pretty wild.
