It is a nice example of circulated coin. Worth 1¢.

 

Seems like some doubling in the L in liberty and up in god we trust and the last 5

 

I think it's only worth 1/2c. We haven't seen the reverse.

In that case, you posted this in the wrong forum. I was anticipating that you wanted to know the value based on its condition.

Well, the most famous doubled Lincoln happens to be the 55. And there is no mistaking that one when you see it. Yours is a nice 55. When Elvis and Chevy Bel-Airs ruled. Nice but certainly not a doubled 55.

 

If people click on the photo file, it is what is called a poorman's double die ( which means it isn't a true one ). The enlargement you see if from a deteriorated die that had been overuse and moved all images towards the outside perimeter as it spread. So the L, lettering and the last 5 appears doubled, but it is not a mint making error. Sometimes on eBay they do sell them for a few dollars, but they have just face value for most.
