Well, it finally came. My (PGR) 10 ride Challenge Coin, although I've been on (unfortunately) 14 by now since joining the South Dakota Chapter. I don't think it's gold ;) but nice never-the-less.

    Take Care

Thank you Steve. It's a bittersweet award/reminder since each ride is to attend a funeral of a fallen veteran, so with the coin comes the memories of a Comrade in Arms.

Ben it is a good thing that you do and you guys/gals have my utmost respect. Being a vet, and working in a cemetery, I know how much the families appreciate what the riders do and what they stand for.

    I have a moped. Do I qualify??:)

Good job Ben, I am going to have to check and see if there is something like that around here, I would be honored to ride in it. I will be attending a function this weekend for Fallen Soldiers in Brighton Michigan.

Good God *&^% there is no need to "Look Up" to me, please. Edited by me, my initial response was a little over the top...

OK , whatever you say Ben, but what you're doing is alot more than most are doing for our Vets. Nice "coin" btw.

The PGR where in town yesterday---I'm not sure how many or really why. I do some work for the Funeral Home and saw the guy(s) there with the flag and such, but as far as I know it was a funeral for a vet....

I really can't explain it, but one is incredibly humbled by the simple heroic actions some of these vets performed in the service to their country. I'm telling you there could have been 1,000 war movies made instead of the few John Wayne and others made when you hear of the stories these guys young and old comrades tell at these services. It's a true statement "The Glory Goes To Rest While The Toil Goes On..."

Incredibly moving, and never written down except upon a citation or award...

Did you ever run into the folks from Fred Phelps church?

I went to Jacksonville, FL to attend a military funeral because I heard that they were going to be there, but they chickened out.
