$10-$15 right now on ebay, I'd say average is $12.50 for that design currently. Any of the first 3 designs are around that range now, maybe the first one lowell W is more towards $10 each ungraded. Newest Texas w one seems to be around $30-40 each right now, but soon to go lower.
I disagree, although I can see $5-8 being a possibility for a circulated example, they will not continue to drop unless you count damaged, circulated examples and they won't be just 25 cents either. 100% the "gotta have it now" hype of new releases takes effect, especially with PCGS putting a $2000 bounty on a first find, and it's artificially inflated because of these reasons for the first month or so after release with the biggest money being made in the days after release if you are fortunate to find one in that small window and sell it. Anytime you can take something you found for 25 cents and flip it into a $5 bill or better it's a win in my book. I'm actually starting to think they won't go below $10 because the only Lowell Ws that sell on ebay below $10 are people putting them on there with too low "buy it nows" and are shorting themselves for a quick sale.
Let's hope so. I just would like a set of the five coins, preferably in capsules, for a reasonable price and a MS65+ grade, without having to resort to slabs.
Cool find. There is a lot of 2 up for grabs in this month's giveaway, as it happens. @Cheech9712 donated them.
All I can say is that in my search for "sample" slabs from all 56 states, territories, commonwealths and other government types, 2019 has been a great year! And CHEAP IS GOOD. A "W" sample would be a huge bonus, not holding my breath. HOWEVER, two of the hardest ever to date have fallen and fallen HARD: ANACS samples for the summer seminar and ANA both used Northern Marianas Islands coins Long Beach Treasure Trivia used Guam!!! Idaho is also possible, the Frank Church River of No Return is up next...
