Looks like it was put in jewelry mount and is very polished. A pawn shop might have a machine that could test the gold content.

    Ex jewelry piece for sure.
    Probably end around $70ish dollars.
I saw one the other day in a 2x2 cardboard sell for $180.
(love to find that guy and sell a hand full of them at that price point)

Can those machines register chocolate through gold foil?

Simpler method. You eat it. If it was delicious, it's chocolate.

Yes, the re-strike year, also the first gold coin I ever bought back in 2006! :D And no, I didn't buy it on pebay! :cigar: People are buying them up like crazy on pebay and they don't even think about the spread between the premium they pay and the POG! laughhard.gif Definitely a jewelry piece! :D

Way back when...I was buying coins from a place called First Coinvestors and at one time or another they would send me one of these as a "thank you". I ended up with six of them. A few years ago, my sister wanted two of them to have made into earrings. Having them put in a bezel ran her $300...

What do I think I remember when you couldn't give them away for $22 each. (and my memory of US gold goes back further. Double eagles for $60 anyone? :)
