Just wanted to see how she made out in the storm. She is still living in the Virgins correct?
@TIF Hoping you're all doing well.

She says she is OK. Now we need to worry about Bing and the bunch from Florida.

Hi @Paddy54 and everyone— thanks for thinking of me! I’m okay and my home is okay but once again we’re without power. Dorian changed course significantly overnight, leaving only hours to prepare. It was a direct hit, thankfully only Cat 1, but pretty bad for the many homes and businesses still compromised from 2017’s back-to-back Cat 5 monsters.

I’d only just finished most repairs from Irma and Maria and put my place up for sale earlier this month. Had 2 offers within days and it’s under contract, all done but the closing. I was so afraid this hurricane would damage the place and kill the deal!

Hope there are no more in the next month.

Watch out, Bing, VK, and other Floridians... Dorian is looking ominous.

Heading back to Texas— Waco area, to be with my 86 year old mom who is starting to have difficulty living alone. I’m looking forward to it... we get along so well and enjoy each other’s company :).

My coins are already there :D. I flew with them when I went for a visit last month. I miss them :( :D.

Good to hear. Man, all of your coins? I am not sure I could be apart from mine that long, I would have to have a few of my babies around. :)

For the last 10 years ,we been care givers to her parents. Not an easy job but you just know to enjoy the good days, and try and put a spin on bad.
    We lost Dad last year....

As I recall, your collecting style includes so many coins that it would be hard to know each baby's name. A disadvantage of having a database of your collection is that you have to face statistics like how many children there are. I just looked and my baby now weighs 18.6kg not including containers. Have you weighed yours? I make a point of touching every coin at least once a year which means some spend more time in the bank box than others but everyone gets some attention.
