If you still have French coin books, I've been looking for a copy of Mazard (2 volume set) for some time now. It's available in Paris but always with outlandish shipping fees, really trying to find a copy here in the US if I can. Nope, wasn't aware you had "de-accessioned" the collection so to speak. I've been kind of sort of doing the same thing. Or should I say trying to become a little more focused, a perennial challenge for anyone collecting in the world coin field. So far, I have eliminated all of the non-precious metal coins leaving only silver and gold (plus a single platinum coin). I have also (just this year) dumped all of the Egyptian silver in the collection, primarily because it has gone up so much that I: A) Could not afford to add any additional coins that were meaningful. B) Could not imagine the prices continuing their steep accent. C) Wanting to avoid the same fate as Russian coins post-2008 or Chinese post-2011 when both crashed in price. The next natural elimination would be the silver coins smaller than a crown. In particular, about 15 silver minors from early 20th century Italy that are all high grade. Would likely sell them as a group lot in a live auction at Stack's Bowers if I let them go. I've had some terrific results with Stack's the past few years with similar somewhat large lots of very desirable minors that would otherwise be lost in the online session if listed separately. As for being around a long time, I'm one of those guys who tosses up 3 dozen posts in a weeks time then vanishes for 8 or 10 months. But I do recognize your handle.
This one came today, and it has my name on it! Edward, though I am not an emperor by any stretch of the imagination. 1907 Bundi State India AR Rupee
You were there? I wish I could have met you...and maybe talked you out of an Albanian coin or two . I only found one to buy and it was merely an upgrade for a lower denomination. Otherwise a lot of head shaking from dealers and one too-high priced 100FrA that was admittedly gorgeous and nicer than the one I had. It's not often I run into another Albanian collector and it would be cool. That said, I was riding the Amtrak back from California (went from VA to Chicago, then on to CA, then back again to VA...it's been a long couple weeks including the ANA) and sat next to a random dude at dinner. I ordered the pasta for dinner and he whips out his phone to show me a photo of 'Albanian Rigatoni'. No joke, he had just gotten back from Albania! He'd left his wife there who had a job as a college counselor. So I whipped out my phone and showed my my 'how to learn Albanian' Audible book so he knew I was serious about my 'ohmygoshAlbaniaIreallywanttogotheresomeday' enthusiasm. Didn't show him the coin collection photos though .

Here's one of my recent finds. I like the classic commemorative's and still working on a complete set of Morgans. Missing 10 examples.
Gold is hard to grade for me. But I never claimed to be good at it anyway. Looks at least gem for nice clean surfaces.
I clicked on several of the above and each time got a message to the effect that this site can't be reached.
