Finds in the halves department has been slow for me in my area. I've been asking for halves at my banks, but getting the same answer, "Oh, we just gave out our halves yesterday [or a few days ago, or last week], so we don't have any."

I have also been asking for large dollar coins, but have received the same response, or "Oh, we rarely see those."

Disappointing, but nonetheless part of the game.

    Best of luck everyone!

Just got back from the neighboring town and picked up the following:
    Halves:
    2 x Brinks boxes
    $83.50 Coin Machine Bag
    $509.50 Coin Machine Bag
    Dollars:
    $35 Ike’s (all clad)
Opened the boxes looking for enders, first box zero enders. Second box, 2 enders (most I have seen in months). I will search the 2 ender box with my Mom when I visit her. HH everyone!

Here in Europe we do not have silver, but still some interesting coins to find - my first ever Vatican City Euro coin as an end roll find

  7. Got a box of nickels and it's the best box I've ever got 3 Silver War nickels, my very first Buffalo nickel, 1978 proof, a very shiny 1963, and my very first 2009 dime found at my dump bank.

Always be thankful for your half dollar boxes....even though I’m not a religious guy... CD900C29-5761-4A70-8E0A-6C1A0C88B974.jpeg

Quick nickel hunt today. No album fillers but did score a well worn 1945-D.

Thank you for posting. I always wondered if we have some European lurkers in the thread! What is your best find?

Stopped at a bank to deposit 480 in quarters i had, and they happened to have exactly 480 in halves!

Unfortunately all i found was one NIFC. Better luck next time hopefully.

Been awhile since I made my trip to the east side of town for halves, so I left work early and stopped by three banks. I gathered up a total of $300 MWRs, $110 in CWRs, and $6.50 loose.
    5, 40’s in the loose
    Nothing in the CWRs (Dump)
    2, 40’s and 1, 90 JFK in the loose
    1, ‘80S Cu-Ni clad proof

I’m very satisfied despite the fact this took me a total of 1.5 hours...obviously, it’s only a hobby!

One remarkable thing was the 5, 40’s were in 1 of the MWRs...very odd based on my experience.

I also called my favorite teller and asked whether she had any large dollars set aside for me. She said she didn’t have any for me, and as of 1 September the bank changes to dealing directly with Loomis. She’ll try ordering large dollars next week and let me know how it goes...I’m anxious to hear from her.

Stopped in the bank just on a whim. Didn’t have much cash on me. These finds came out of the teller tray and ONE single CWR of dimes. (I actually got 3 CWR but the other two had nil)

There is hardly anything to find - sometimes I find coins I did not find before.

Euro is available only since 2002 - so no silver available and nearly no NIFC coins.

In Sweden I found 2 pc. 1 Krona SILVER coins when searching a total of 4 rolls when I was on holiday there several years ago...

Not worth a lot of money but still a nice find...

Proofs are also fun to find. When I CRH'd nickels I found about 3/4 of a roll of proof Jeffs over about 2 years.

Thanks! Not quite there's a couple nicks on the cheek and a rim ding about 11 o clock on the obverse, by pretty nice for a circulated roll find for sure!
