Hi all, it seems many folks on this forum have shutter bug talent. I am running a contest to help populate a coin picture website. It is Here The rules are simple, post a picture of a coin or currency (US or foreign) on the website between now and the end of April. Each photo is worth one entry. Photos should be uploaded into the proper category and the desc should contain enough info about the coin. Simply peruse the site for all the categories. Photos should be of decent quality as well. (raw coin pictures are best) That’s it. If you do not want others downloading your images without getting credit, please put some sort of watermark on the corner of the image. If you have any questions, please post them as I am sure others may have the same question.

HI, for those of you who were trying to post pictures for this contest today, my site has been down all day due to an issue at my host provider. They have not given me any indication as to when the issue will be resolved. Sorry.
Due to extreme issues with my host provider, my sites were down most of yesterday so I am extended this to midnight tonight for anybody who wants to get in a late photo. My apologies. The winner will be revealed tomorrow (Friday)
I have tried time and again to post photos to your site, I have personally given up. Anyone had any success?
Hi Mike, yes, several others have had success. can you PM me with any messages/errors you are getting or the process you are following? I checked your credentials and all seems ok. I will continue to test though as I would love to have your photos. THanks
honestly, it says that my picture has been successfully uploaded, but then I can't find hide nor hare of it on the site. I just did it again. The same pic as I tried before with pretty much the exact same result. It a SLQ pic if you can find it. Like I said, I give up. I guess I won't win this contest.
mikenoodle, I've had no problems. Are you trying to look at the picture immediately after uploading it? If so, it may not have showed up yet due to the fact that it has to be reviewed. I assume to prevent anyone from uploading anything inappropriate. If thats not the case, sorry. I have no idea what other problem thier could be like. Like I said, I had no problems.
That's what has been happening to me. MVC caught me trying to post pictures.. of ... me,.. enough said
