The Mint says this coin “currently is unavailable” after only three weeks of sales. It’s listed as having no mintage limit. Anybody besides me find this curious?

Maybe you exceeded the mint limit of only 10,000 per household? :troll:

Probably some kind of problems that hindered future production of the coin.

I bought mine last week and just got it the other day. Glad I got it then. Would've been bummed if I couldn't finish my new son's birth year set.
I'm sure it will come back in stock though. Being no mintage limit or anything.

The S mints are sold out. The W mints are still in stock. I got one of each a couple weeks ago.

I imagine it is "currently unavailable" like the Pride of Two Nations sets were. They are back in stock now and I bet the San Fran Silver Eagles will be also.

Same price......so what is the difference in an S and a W......I mean why would one be more desirable then the other?

Possibly they may be reconsidering the price after all the fluctuations in the stock market? I'm sure they have plenty of stock on hand but you know how the Mint works. Squeeze it like ripe grapefruit.

Because 1 as an "S" and the other has a "W"....come on. What is there not to understand?!?! :p
I bought one of each just for my son's birth year coins. But normally I would be just fine with 1 per year.
