    Large date. My easy way of telling it is a large date is the 7 is lower than the 9 and 0

    Largie; I find them easy to identify with the 70 being lower than the 9, and the diagonal line from the bottoms of the 9, 7, 0 is how I confirm my usual disappointment. Both easy enough to see once you get the hang of it;)

    The 'O' is easier for some. Small date is 'cateye' shape, the Large date is a large oval.

    The small date will have weak LIBERTY but should not be used as a conclusive id marker for it.

    Absolutely large.
    The 9 doesn't curl far enough around, the 7 is low not high, LIBERTY is well struck.
