Meow has found this quarter CRH yesterday. Meow is thinking it might be PMD because the number nine is still a bit visible in the crater. Meow was under the impression that a STD this large would not allow a transfer of the device under it.
    What do you guys think?

    STD? What does that mean?

I see the nine. With a STD coin the Debris is usually a grease-like substance. The field surface and the design features surface are subjected to different pressure during the striking of the dies. And so would any debris on the die.
A Struck Through Foreign Object that is harder than the coin metal it could prevent the nine for showing. A Unretained Lamination can show design details under the Lamination peal.

I think it is a Struck Through Debris.

STD could mean Struck Through Damage. I realize that we're dealing with a cat but .....
