It's a 1946 Wheat Cent.. What is the issue?
All I see are small simple planchet anomalies on the Reverse. Nothing really major and nothing really "impossible"

I think it looks like die chips caused by a damaged/gouged die.

Could you please post where this info comes from? I could not find a listing for such a thing at Error-ref.com.

it's in my head.. When I finish writing the error book I plan to put out I will send you a copy. 34 years of anomalies ;)

Related to laminations, fissures, IDB's etc.

How in the heck did the book get in your head. Are you saving all your metal detector finds for the surgery?

Since no one has explicitly stated and I'm not very good at reading minds ... are we looking at all the Reverse surface anomalies of ...
    • above the "P" and "R" in PLURIBUS
    • lower left of the "E" in ONE
    • top & bottom left of "C" in CENT
    • to the right of "T" in CENT
    • above "O" in OF
    • above "T" and "E" in STATES
    • a dot on the top of the left wheat stalk
    ??

I see pressure ridges from damage and perhaps some chips/gouges. Clear, close photos may be more revealing, but I doubt it. Some of these may be imagined to be letters, but they are not.

Based on what I can see,
there are only hits/contact marks on the reverse.

I don't see any die chips or die cracks.

What you see on the reverse occurred after
the coin was already in circulation.

Maybe the OP could circle the area in question.
All I see is something on the C in CENT.

@Fred Weinberg @Clawcoins ...the anomalies appear to be raised metal as Clawcoins listed of the various areas of the coin. I agree that circulation and contact marks can push up surrounding metal and I am in no way arguing here. But my guess, at least for some of these, is attempts to clean up a damaged die.

I am open to stand up or sit down to be corrected...Spark

I think it's clear what the OP is referring to. All I can suggest is a dropped device, Most likely not. Just my thoughts.

It's a normal well circulated 1946 wheat cent!

upon closer inspection this is what I think I see from my list ....
    (1) die chips as they show height.
    (2) there a large indent on the tip of the E which appears to push the metal out and up to the lower left. PMD
    (3) appears to be 2 craters inside the loops which are pushed out metal. PMD
On the lower part you can see a strike movement across from the inside to the outside of the C. PMD I guess.
    (4) there's a strike across the T in an arc from the top left to the outside lower part of the T. Thus looks like moved metal. PMD
    (5) an upwards strike going through the O, and thus forming pushed metal above it. PMD
    (6) appears to be just dents/damage in some and not all images. PMD
    (7) small die chip as it shows height.

but then .. we weren't there to witness all of it and I'm just briefly looking at pictures
