The Red Book Special Edition honoring the Chicago Coin Club's 100th Anniversary was sold at the show.

It is a limited edition of #250 pieces.

I was able to purchase #2 copies, and both are signed by Ken Bressett, Dave Bowers & Jeff Garrett.

In addition, I was able to get the flyer, full color, for the above, which was signed by Ken Bressett and Dave Bowers.

This is one of the lowest production Special Editions ever made

If I recall correctly, you collect the Red Books. Right? How many do you have now?

    Chris:

    Too many to count. :)

actually, one full set, minus the 2019, which I need. All signed by Ken Bressett, from the first year that he worked on the Red Book.

One set, all signed from 1947 to 1987, missing 2 all signed by Yeoman.

Duplicates of all special editions, all Presentation editions, missing 2019 & 2020.

and many more boxes of the.

Plus related exonumia, many that Whitman has never heard of. Including one that is not listed in the back of the Red Book, and Ken & I have the only 2 copies known, of 5 produced.

That's cool. Did the box of lost books ever show up? I was sad they went missing. Looks like you found replacements. Are you planning a new addition of your book?

    Yes, it showed up.

about 18 months later I got an e-mail from Ken saying that he had signed my books and they were on the way back. I was lost.

I hadn't sent any books in ages.

Then I remembered the 'lost box'.

It was the first time that I had sent books for signing and did not keep a list.

5 days later they arrived, 18 months there, 5 days back.

They included some very scarce special editions.

As for my book, I have to talk to Dennis Tucker, President of Whitman, at the show at least 10 people asked me when the update was coming out. Dennis mentioned that he had heard the same thing from a number of folks.

    So, here's hoping.
