1970 whitish hue on front/back of coin

    I don't want to ruin another coin. From the naked eye this coin looks awful .I would like to know if anyone knows the penny type and how to clean it? Thanks in advance for replies.

    It's a copper cent.. Any cleaning will ruin it. Leave it at is.
