You will get a letter from them telling you that the product is no longer available and that you will be issued a refund..................shortly.

How long shortly will be is debatable.

The Mint would cash your check and send you a letter stating the price is been changed and you need to submit the difference.

 

Why, naturally, the mint would dig up as many 1988 sets as you want, inspect them, (they always inspect every item they ship, we all know that), and send them to you. They are, after all, 100% dedicated to your satisfaction.

 

I love the responses. Well maybe we will find out. Sticking it in the mail today.
