1996 P Washington quarter

    Wonder what you think this?
    Could this be a chip that has fallen off ???any info is greatly appreciated

    Those are not die cracks. Your pictures are very zoomed and pixelated but they look like they could be clash marks from the wings on the reverse. That or feeder finger scrapes. Again, you need clear non-blurry pictures to be of better help.

    I can see that "spitting eagle" no doubt but it seems like the clash is slightly north west of the eagle beak. Looks like it's shooting out the eye lol

    Looks like very Late Stage Die strike to me. Die crack go over the design of the eagles wing and the top off Geo's head. Noticed eye socket is worn down to the same plain as the field due to cleaning/ grinding the die face. The reverse shows signs of being damaged be a roll crimping machine.

    I wouldn't pay more than a quarter for it. Die cracks are super common.

    It's value lies with what you learn from it. Worth keeping as a reference coin.

    The spitting eagle is a die clash. This isn't what you would call a spitting eagle.. I don't think. This is a die crack you are seeing.
