Meow has found a possible doubled die penny again. But this time its a 2016d. The three 2015d ones Meow found where strong showers. and the two 2018d found where weaker. But this is weaker still. A bit hard to photograph as the penny is very shiny. A lot easier to see with a loupe. But the USB camera is all Meow has to take coin pics so this is the best Meow could do. This and the 2015d only have a small chance to be real, but Meow will just keep it for the Cat Hoard anyway. The second to the last photo shows it the best.
I guess it’s the ear lobe you’re looking at. Good luck getting agreement on the Doubled Die. Keep up the hunt
Well, having that extra lump under the earlobe is not typical. This one is a bit of a stretch, but there is some sort of anomaly there. Meow thinks its just a very mild case of one. Ever see a state quarter ear lobe double die? Wexler listed, yet there is not much to see there either.

It could be chipped out. They chip everywhere. I have one on a 1943 right smack in the middle of the head that's the size of a cud. I think it's just a little filled-in chip.
