So I got a 1995 5$ bill in change, and I saved it, unlike the 20. Its from J. and it has writing on it, again! lol edit: cool thing, no repeating digits. Serial number is: J51284736A
95's are getting harder and harder to find in circulation ... granted - they are still out there and can be found easily enough if one looks for them ... but it wont be that way forever! think about it.. when was the last time you saw a 1993 dollar note? i get 1988's alot more frequently then 93's!!
almost looks like the note had been placed in a tellers mutilated pile .. and at that point, it had $20 of currency in it lol
Im my area, YES .. 1988 and 1988a are ALOT more common then 1993. It stands to reason though .. the 1988 and 1988a series had billions printed, while the 1993 series had only a fraction of that printed. ... I have got possibly well over 100 1988 and 1988a notes, while i have only a few 1993 - and i have kept every 1993 i have found since starting keeping notes by dates/series/district
That's what I thought, there where more 1988's printed than 1993's. Thanks for the heads up, Daggarjon! I'll keep an eye out for the 1993's. Lou
doh! I left the 5$ bill in the scanner! Had to pay with the debit card... So, I still have it, lol - for now
