    ...hi there,
I'm a complete novice when it comes to coins, so in case my questions seem stupid, I apologize up front:).

I have a few wheat pennies here I can hardly find informtation on:

A 1936 Wheat Penny with no mint mint mark, BUT an engraved/imprinted ARROW pointing towards Lincoln's eye.

    A 1942 D-Minted Wheat Penny with a capital C engraved/imprinted to the left of Lincoln's head.

    A 1943 S-Minted steel penny.

Anything interesting about these coins? Any value?

Thanks for any comments and help,
    D:).

    Greertings from another newbie.

The 43 penny was Steel... There was a military shortage of copper, so they did the steel for 1 year. There is, of course some value, but not much more than other wheat pennies. Just all depends on the conditions and such.

I don't know much about the others. (except to point out that the 1936 penny is a Philidelphia mint... No mint mark is automatically P in 20th century pennies).

the 1936 with the engraved arrow and the 1942 with the c are both the result of someones Imagination ,,and that leaves us with two damaged pennies and our own imagination as to why and what the Images meant to whomever put them there,

No added value in terms of money, but a little bit more in terms of interesting.
