RPM or No RPM? That is the question

    I cant tell if this is an RPM or if the D just slipped off of its foundation.
    Also, are all the devices on the Obverse flat and wide from life, or could it be a sort of DD?

    The answer to your question.. The mint mark has a plating issue not a RPM and the rest is circulation wear and tear. No Doubled Die issue at all.

    The Mint stopped hand punching MM in 89' this eliminates any chance of an RPM.

    "slipped off its foundation" - Now, that is the first time I have ever heard this explanation used for anything other than a mobile home.
