I found one that's a Double Die. But I can't seem to find the value of it listed anywhere? Does anyone know where I can look it up?
Welcome to Coin Talk. Please post clear photos of both sides of the entire coin with closeups of the area you think is doubled. Thank you.
TY . Tomorrow I'll see what I can do about that in the good day light. At night The light bulbs may cause a glare.
Here are two great sites to check for Doubled Dies: http://doubleddie.com/ http://varietyvista.com/ First find out if you have a Doubled Die, then look up the value. If you post this on the "Error Coins" forum you're likely to get more replies, but not without photos.
I haven't been able to get a pic of it close enough to be able to see the double die. My phone won't do it. Trying to figure out another way. But TY for the links.
I guess according to what the links tell me , it's a mechanical doubling, because the doubling is also in the mint mark. Guess I got my hopes up over nothing. lol But I do definately have a close AM on a 2000 D Lincoln Penny. I've got to get a magnifer camera off of Ebay.
There's no money in these minor doubled dies. I don't know where so many people are getting the idea there is. Where is that coming from, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, some other social construct? These aren't worth anything, they're just collectable by error enthusiasts.
