Nope. An off-center would remove design elements on both sides of the coin. You can see on my coin that the reverse still has all of the design elements, albeit weak where the MAD part was on the obverse. An off center will look like this:
I was actually looking for a cud in the 2015-19 range for my collection and havent found anything substantial enuf to consider,I'd like to see one
I haven't seen many myself. The newest cent CUD I have found is 1998(normal area for CUD's and not very large) and the newest overall is 2015 quarter (barely a CUD).
Nice @furryfrog02 ,that 98 is neat for sure. I've only been able to find shield cents with the tiny cud above the shield,which i usually toss tbh
FYI, if it is above the shield, that wouldn't be a cud. That would be a die chip. CUD's extend from the rim of the coin inward.
