    No doubt a large date.

The only problem is that the coins you have posted are not identified correctly.
Hang around use the search function and learn more about variety's. There are coins out there to be found you just need to know what you are looking for.

The link he posted in post #5 Does go to a 1982 D small date that is listed as weighing 3.1 grams, but enlargemnet of the coin shows plenty of plating blisters. (Especially in the right field in front of the face.) That would mean it is a plated zinc cent and there is something wrong with the listed weight.

It's not there. It's a large date. If you're so sure of yourself please, show us all up, by having it authenticated and graded by PCGS, NGC, or ANACS. Show the photo when you get it back. You have been at this nonsense for days now. In my previous reply I tried to be polite but you are not listening to anyone but yourself. :banghead:
Do you seriously think that anyone would sell a 1892 D Small date copper cent for $10.00 :hilarious:

There's a difference between new sellers starting out somewhere, vs. a dealer with terrible feedback history. ;)

You are correct! There is also a difference between someone who follows CT rules or chooses to ignore them. I hadn't realized until now that it was the OP who is advertising his own eBay listing on this forum against CT rules. Therefore, the "seller just starting out theory" is less justifiable.

I thought I saw a small date. I do agree that there is more than enough evidence that it is Zinc.

In fact I would pay for the authentication. If the member PM's me with his intent.

The OP has taken his eBay listing down. :wacky:

  9. Yep. All of 'em are 1982 D bronze Lg. dates.
