No I actually came here chasing a bad guy that screwed several friends out a lot of money. I started enjoying how friendly the site was and got hooked. Not having a grading service running the site was a blessing. We can speak freely without the fear of being banned.
I feel that way about my bourbon. I like just enough cranberry to flavor the vodka. My drinks are pink
33.8 ounces! If your standard pour in whatever bar you work at is 1.25 ounces, you get 27 "pours" with .05 ounces left over. Chris
Sometimes, I would go to a bar and sit right in front of the person making drinks and ask them, "What is your standard pour?" I always got a kick out of it when the person replied, "A shot!" I have a set in my collection of four identical shot glasses that are 8ozs. each. I was always tempted to bring this set into just such an establishment, put them on the bar in front of the bartender and say, "Just leave the bottle!" You see, there is no standard measurement for a "shot". A lot depends on the sizes of the glassware and the policies of the bar. Some establishments use a 1oz. measure, or a 1.25oz. measure, or a 1.5oz. measure and there are still some bars in clubs like American Legion, VFW, Elks, Moose, etc. that still use 7/8ths oz. as their standard pour. Don't get mad at me. I'm just the piano player. Chris
